Heidelberg High School, home of the Heidelberg Oilers, offers a standard academic course of study for students. Athletics and organizations are offered to meet students' needs and interests.
Career and Technical Education
(CTE)) prepares learners for careers that are based in manual or practical activities, traditionally non-academic and directly related to a specific trade, occupation or vocation, hence the term, in which the learner participates. It is sometimes referred to as technical education, as the learner directly develops expertise in a particular group of techniques or technology.
In 2007, William J Berry will celebrate its 50th Anniversary. It was formerly South Side High, the South Side Elementary, and now is Berry Elementary.

Founded in 1970, Heidelberg Academy is a member of the Mississippi Private School Association and holds a Class A accreditation rating. Approximately 99% of all graduates attend colleges and universities throughout the country. A high percentage of graduates of Heidelberg Academy typically receive academic scholarships.
Heidelberg Academy has a very diverse activities program offering all major sports in grades 7-12. Numerous clubs and student organizations are also offered to encourage student involvement with school. The Fine Arts program includes several show choirs and musical productions on a regular basis. Art and piano lessons are also offered to students.
The East Jasper School District has as its mission to provide an educational program, so designed that it reflects the wide range of learning capabilities, backgrounds, needs and interests of our students. This program will guide the students toward mastery of basic learning skills, individual creativity, acceptable social behavior, and active participation in improving the socioeconomic standards of their environment.
To accomplish this mission, emphasis is focused on strong administrative leadership, quality instruction, and student achievement, which we believe to be important factors to achieve this accomplishment.
