MUNICIPAL  GOVERNMENT 
The Town of Heidelberg is governed by a mayor and a board of aldermen. Elections are held every four years, and open board meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. No level of government is closer to the people than that represented by our mayors, aldermen, councilmen, and commissioners. Municipal government is truly the people's government.
